After you machine wash the doll's body, how long do you let it air dry? Also can the steamer be put directly on the hair or just above it? Thanks (and sorry for all the downy dunk/doll restoration questions).
I don't remember how long I let mine dry. I would turn them upside down on top of a radiator, and I think that I probably left them there for 24 hours at least.
If the steamer is all-plastic and no hot metal parts will touch the hair, then there is no problem with the steamer touching the hair. I often use a motion that looks like "ironing" the hair with the steamer.
